Good. The very first pages are very matter-of-fact, setting the MC's backgrounds and I was interested but not sucked in immediately. BUT, Brett and Tommy have now my full attention, the writing is much more evocative now that we're dealing with emotions, even if it is still (thankfully) sober. Really good. I'm hooked.
