Dire indeed. The creep factor in this *paranormal romance* is off the charts. I should not be getting a Deliverance/Wrong Turn vibe in any book that calls itself a romance. I'm not even really sure who the love interest is supposed to be... the guy she has been obsessing over for years or her kidnapper, neither is a good choice. Stolkholm syndrome anyone?
