Nearing the end

Reading a book within a book. The inner book is not so riveting. I'm stopping for now. It's a shame more people haven't read this book, because it does reference a number of troubling trends in our modern society. I think people tend to just assume it has something to do with privacy / surveillance, but there's more to it than that.

To be honest I was really dubious about Orwell. I've heard so much about this book and the way people talk about it set me up for disappointment. Until I had to read it for class, and I'm actually really enjoying it.
