POTUS has been assassinated!! What's worse, it was by a sitting US senator who denies nothing. However, things take an interesting twist when he feels the murder was justified, or at least falls under the legal argument of the Law of Necessity. While not refuting guilt, a full trial is required, with jury sitting and the entire legal circus for all to see. Will this angle work in a case that everyone's watching?

The trial's in full swing, there's little to discuss as it relates to a confession. Was the claim that the killer spoke openly about needing to 'end' things truthful or some hyperbolic sentiment exacerbated by ideological statements? Was the confession freely offered or coerced at the hands of those around POTUS? And, with apparent evidence POTUS sanction foreign influence on elections, was the killing a godsend?
