After reading the book somethings i enjoyed about reading the book was seeing things from the past in someone else view. I also like that I can relate to the author because we share the same view for most things. The main human issue about the book is slavery and discrimination because it talks about how people of color are treated in the past and present.And it is important because it also bringing awareness to all.
