This book is awesome. I really can relate to the doormat metaphor
What is the life of a doormat?
* It is taken for granted.
* You don’t notice it -it doesn’t attract attention.
* It never talks back.
* It doesn’t take care of itself.
* A doormat stays where it’s put to serve others
* It doesn’t show dirt or abuse
* The doormat only gets attention when it is too worn an no longer useful. Then it’s thrown away
