EVERY SINGLE TIME I'm loving both characters in the books in this series one of them has to make a stupid, dumb ass comment that either ruins it or almost ruins it.
Eli (1st book), Ryder (2nd book), and now Corey in the 3rd one. I guess I should've expected it. And it's always the character who claims to 'always be there' for the other MC. Not hardly.
