This book has indeed - as the author proclaims - a surprise ending! He draws a new picture of the relation between science and religion, based on cognitive science. The interesting part for me, as a theologian, is the relation McCauley depicts between religion and theology - making intelligible why theological ideas are not easily popularized... There just too counterintuitive!

My read for this weekend, curious how far I will get and moreover: how much I will like it!
