I was thinking the same thing myself, based on what I think is a cheesy cover and the description.

It has very, very few errors and the story is keeping my interest.
Two warring vampire clans unite against the enemy who is taking all their food-the Nazis. Will they be successful? Will their unity vanish if or after their enemy is vanquished?
These are the things keeping me reading. :)

Good morning, Charlene. Wanted to let you know the second book should come out this month—Sabotage. This one will go from June 22, 1941 to about March/April 1943. It's take a while to sort our many of the issues going on with the clans. I do address some of the oddities you and other reviewers pointed out: how can they walk in the day, how can Svetlana be impregnated and a host of others. Hopefully the cover for this one won't be as controversial as the first one with the swastika. I know the second one wasn't the best, but it's hard to improve on excellence. What other teaser should I throw in? Ah, yes. The Boirarksy clan is going really fracture. Nicole and Dmitri are forced to leave at Kirilli's insistence. The Germans are close to isolating the bacteria from the doomed General Heidrick. He was the only one who didn't die in Himmler's office. What else? Oh yeah! A lot more action and plotting scenes as the clans slow the German advance into Russia. Other than that, I'm bored out of my small mind. Back to hammering on the keys.
