Already bored. There's only so much sweetness and caring I can deal with before conflict. Also there is a lot more to rehabbing horses than this book is detailing. Especially foals. She has only worked with the foal a few times in the weeks since it has been born and the way to build up trust and not being scared of common things (like clippers and farriers) is being exposed to it as a foal.

If a mare is about to foal, you have a lot more warning signs than just her behavior. Temperature drops. pH changes. Wax.
She should have been on foal watch. Just sayin'.

"You have a strong spirit Amy. It's fighting to live, just like that beautiful horse behind you. Your journey isn't over yet. It's time for you to embrace what's next. You don't need me for that."
