I'll fully admit that the friendship between Draikh and Raim is one of the best things I think I've possibly EVER read. It's strong, trusting and beautiful.
I've just read past a chapter where their trust is tested from an emotional stand-point. Something I don't think I've ever read in a book before.
It's a trust that speaks to each friend as "I need time alone, but you're still my best friend". It gave me goosbumps
