I’m not far, but I need to put it down for a minute. I think it’s a case of reading an author’s follow up work first, and feeling a bit lost on the first one. Regardless of rave reviews. I adored Circe and hurried home to read it. This one is trudging for me so far. I obviously know it’s on it’s way....but I’m gonna head back to horror for a minute 😂

I’m struggling with this book. I’m wondering if it’s a matter of “which did you read first?”, because my mother is struggling with Circe, and I loved every second of that book. I’m pausing for now, but I’ll finish it eventually
