Anish Kohli Oh nice! You're deep into this series! I am only done with book #2. I'd welcome some insights and advice without any spoilers, if you can manage that :D

Also can I ask just a couple of burning questions?

Akshay Hi ... up until book 7, it has good pace, i actually started book 9 and felt that i needed to read something else, so i have kept it aside for a while till i finish some other series.
My advise : read first 3, take a break, read something else, then again read couple of more from this series.

Feel free to ask questions :)

Good to know. I'm already doing that but in a more detailed way. I read a different book after every WoT book so I don't get burned out by reading something so huge.
But as I understand, you're in the middle of the infamous slog of WoT. How much of a difference is there in the pacing compared to the rest of books that precede the slog?

A. So I think my first and most burning question would be that the two remaining boys, Mat & Perrin, can both use Saidin too, right? Rand can't be the only Saidin wielder, is it?

B. Second would be that by which book can I except to see the boys wield Saidin?

Akshay A=> Mat and Perrin get other abilities (not use of saidin). Not to reveal any spoilers, you will see many more saidin wielders (and i mean many many more) in later books.

B=> If if remember correctly other saidin wielding characters are introduced in 5th and 6th book. But again not Mat and Perrin.

I really loved how Perrin's character is developed in this series. Some times i was more interested in Perrin than Rand.

Happy Reading,
Akshay.

Damn! I was hoping to see Mat and Perrin be Saidin wielders too but I guess I knew it won't happen.
Also do you mean Perrin will have abilities in addition to being a wolfbrother?
