Is this book Christian fiction? Because I feel like I'm being preached to, which I find eyeroll-worthy. In fact, I'm skimming through paragraphs of this stuff in the hopes that I can get past it and back to the actual story. "Period of Faith" doesn't have to mean inflating a story's word count with unnecessary preaching.
