Most of issue #31 was about Illyria trying to convince Angel to let her 'woo' his son, Connor. Gotta say, that was weird! What may have been weirder...seeing Spike's love heart covered underwear!

Angel is free! And working on some 'pent-up frustrations'! Plus we see Connor and Gunn butt heads which is kind of great to see because I feel like the characters would actually do that! Angel and Illyria are introduced to Laura Weathermill, a former Watcher (among other things). I am so interested to see where her character goes and what she'll do to the Angel & Co. dynamic!

Issue #3 was a little all over the place! Angel Inc. scrambling to figure out what's going on, the populace becoming infested with celebrity vampires and Illyria asking for Angels permission to impregnant his son!? On the plus side, there was a pretty funny opening by Spike and Gunn!

Issue #2 flashes back to the events that had to occur to land Angel in his current predicament! There was a sense of realism that I enjoyed in the story and am excited to learn more!

Issue #1 focuses on Connor more. I enjoyed getting inside his head a little plus it seems like an interesting story line is coming up for him! Also, I can't wait to see how they explain what the heck happened to Angel!!
