I felt compelled to read this to try to understand the mind of this monster. My family lived through this time in Europe. My decision to stop was made for me when I went to change laundry and I found the book was a ball of wet pulp. I knew I'd have to reimburse the library for the book but all I could do was laugh. It felt righteous that such a filthy book was put to such an end. I will read it one day but not today.
