I'm reading this because someone I know said it reminded them of the stuff I write, but that it felt a little bit more forced. I can see where they're coming from. It's 'try-hard'- which I guess you could level at my stuff, if you took a dislike to what I do. But I'd say I'm hopefully a little more subtle.
