I really enjoyed Dream Girl. The content was clean, the characters were easy to relate to and lovable, and S.J. Lomas really impressed me as an author. She has a way of writing that draws you in and makes you want to keep reading.
The chapters are very short in this book, sometimes even just a few paragraphs, but I found that I loved that! It made the book move quickly, and I was done way to fast. I recommend!

Oooh, the plot thickens? Who's the blonde in the glasses? Why is he chasing Gabriel? *flips page*

I realize something about this book. The chapters are very short, some just a page, some two pages. Before reading I was mildly irritated by this, but after beginning I have decided that I love it. It makes the book seem to go quickly, the story progressing at a good rate.
The problem: I finish a chapter, look ahead and say "Yeah, I can read one more, they are short," 3 chapters later "Yeah, I can read one more..."

I made the mistake of opening this just to see what the writing style was like. I'm already in the middle of too many books. "I'll just read a paragraph or two, get a feel," I say innocently to myself.
S.J. Lomas is thus far a very talented writer. Her words flow easily and before I knew it I was 27 pages in. Forcing myself to put the book down, I now face the problem... continue or wait... *sigh*
