I love Woolrich's stories which can really give your nerves a jolt. One of the best "noir with a twist" authors.

Good to know Jill! 💙 My first time reading and it was a wonderful short story. Of course OTR fans like us hear him all around there. 💕
His tales were so perfect for OTR. He was a strange reclusive man whose life story might make a good book in itself.
There was a brief biography at the end and you are right it would be an interesting read.
