I was a bit surprised to realize my bookmark was in the middle already. It started slow (unfortunately, there is no exciting way to set the stage), but is pretty interesting. (If you're into crime.) I'm also getting a kick out of recognizing the names of out-of-the-way Midwestern towns.

I've actually become fascinated by the murders-- I totally understand now why people learn everything they can about serial killers. It's bizarre how simultaneously revolting and compelling they can be-- the standards they hold themselves to, even though they've (in this case) murdered an entire family.
