Ok, now I'm crying. Bailey had been through so much, lived such a long life. Its certainly interesting to experience aspects of life through a dog's eyes things like first love and divorce. And of course there had to be the one kid that just wasn't right; still don't want to know what he did to Marshmallow.

Just reading chapter five makes me think it should be required reading in schools, something to warn off people from leaving dogs in cars. I admit that I am guilty of such a crime, but we thought we'd done better by leaving something to drink (which had yet to get even warm in the short time we were gone) and widows down as far as we could allow without my baby slipping out; I will say my baby boy was fine.
