For far too long church members have given without demanding accountability and transparency. Members have abdicated their responsibility and allowed the church to evolve into a pyramidal organizational structure. The person at the top of the pyramid is affected by all the power vested in them. 'Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely as we have witnessed over time.
