Fifth story was the worst from all three I've read. I can't wrap my mind over the fact that the tenants keep renting there even though the owners are assholes and their son harassed female tenants and guests all the time.

And then this stupid guy shouted at MC while MC was standing on the edge of the balcony. Didn't it occur to him that shouting would only startle MC and make him lose his balance?

On the fifth story and starting to get irritated by the dog and by the way MC got forced to take care of it while being suspected as a murderer.

I grumbled as I read the fourth story because MC was another angsty man torn between being filial and being gay. The mystery was great though, and I also cried at the end when the truth of those letters was revealed.

The third story actually had a good mystery, but the romance took half of that goodness. The detective thought more about his crush than the case.
The fourth story was a rambling mess. There're more descriptions of the place than the story itself. A story that should be a thriller turned into a boring tl;dr.

Finished the second story. The mystery was pretty weak, and the bad guy kinda handed himself in. The romance level was still acceptable.
