Powerful mages able to shoot energy across a long distance is amazing! Flip side to it - they are the bad guys! Very cool book! The Darkslayer wears magical protective armor to counter most magical spells which is cool, but it doesn't work to well when a mage is shooting at him from a distance.

Whoo-hoo!! Lots of action! Slicing and dicing going on! Oh I finally made it out of the 8% mark and now into 9%. :-)

Slow moving through book one. Percentage of book not moving as the chapters are long so the percentage is just staying in one spot. Otherwise the book is awesome so far as I have been hitting some sword and axe action. This series is suppose to have sorcery, but I haven't come across it yet. I am so waiting for that to happen! lol :)
