The series sort of peters downhill at number six when Anne leaves the scene and it becomes more about her kids. I like the kids and think they're funny but the message here appears to be give up on your dreams and think about nothing but housewifery. I'm missing Anne's personality and main role. I will see if the series gets better since I bought all the books, but I only recommend books 1-5 which made me cry.
