Why on earth would he want to make peace so easily with his father. For the h to supposedly come from the same back ground is a joke. If Tessa was of an AA background, she would know that “I’m sorry” and “I’ve changed” is to little to late.

My biggest problem in the book right now is the lack of understanding or alcoholics. Considering the both of them are supposed be children of alcoholics, there is a major gap that is just not representative of true life.
