Slow start but it's picking up. Wish there was more about her parents and her childhood, but you can see her early character. Lots of name dropping which is a little obscuring to someone not in programming or with a Navy background.

This woman had a time turner. Chapter 4 covered most of the same time as 3 but from the perspective of her Navy career. How she kept it all straight is a mystery but she must have had prodigious organizational skills. It's clear she could cut straight to the heart of a problem and was MUCH sought after as a subject matter expert. And she was a member of SWE!

NOW we're to the part about computers that I understand. This part is reading faster. The multiplicity of Hopper's skills is incredibly impressive.
