I am loving thias novel right now. I do feel the difference in writing from when she wrote the other two I read earlier.

But I understand why she is distanced from Lilith and the alien named Jdahya. She wrote in third person so we can observe and absorb this new world. I have not gotten deep yet into the Oankali's world yet. But they are intelligent beings...
