Reading this book reminds me of times when I was younger and I'd be hanging out with people I knew and didn't know and would get really really high. So high I couldn't do anything but melt into the couch and become absorbed by others conversations that sounded like a foreign language yet some how understandable. Occasionally something they would say would strike me as amusing and I would begin to giggle.
