White space to pad pages, hyperlinks... even the author didn’t proofread this book. He admits himself he wrote the book prematurely. The book is very repetitive and he acknowledges and even makes fun of this.

While I get the sense that the author does have a lot of valuable information to share, this is unfortunately just not a very good book. It reads more like a collection of loosely-connected blog posts; it's full of typos, grammatical mistakes, poor/incorrect word choices, and Internet slang like lol, hahahah, and emoticons. What's worse is the fact that this is less a book about house hacking than it is about Airbnb
