What the heck just happened?

While at a Taylor Swift concert:
Alexis: Stop feeling me up, we're at a concert.
Bo: Ok, np.
Alexis starts feeling up Bo.
Bo: Stop doing that! (winces about his blue balls)
Alexis: Fuck you jerk! We're done!
...

Bo just shows up with flowers. Her favorite flowers. Her response:


"These are lilies and they're orange. Both my favorites, and I've never told you I loved lilies. These aren't just flowers. You got them for a reason, spill it."
"Guess you'll have to wait and see."
"Whatever. I have a job to do."

She's so pleasant. I totally get why she has a hot guy panting after her.

This book is so awkward.

The phone next to her ear continued ringing. "Sarah. Good you answered. Look I want to go out tonight, you in?"

After a long silence where Alexis drifted off in her thoughts again, Sarah spoke up. "Lex, are you day dreaming? I said yeah, I'll go with you."

So she calls her friend, asks her to go out, then drifts off in to a daydream (that we don't see)? Just weird.

Sigh... this book is just not good so far.
