It is really hard to take a book like this seriously when they couldn’t do enough research to know you go UP to the platform at King’s St. It is not a subterranean stop.

Y’know, quite a few times the men in this story rant and rave or expound for far too long about what they’re excited about, but the second a woman does she feels the need to stop and apologize because she find something fascinating?

Dan Brown’s treatment of poor fat Trish is deplorable. He could have been kinder especially in his description at the end of her section. But then, he is a horrid misogynist who only sees worth in women who look like Katherine.

A 24yo thinking about how “10 years ago” something related to the internet wouldn’t have been possible is a big issue. Knowing people that age, and even myself a LOT older, the internet has ALWAYS been able to do this stuff. I have to remind myself constantly that Washington couldn’t just use dial-up, because that’s how far away both seem.

Okay. Can someone please explain how this lead-lined lab which doesn’t allow external electricity can somehow access a web crawler to use everyone else’s search processors? I can’t get past it. …among other more annoying things. How did I ever like this Langdon asshole to begin with?
