Honestly, I was having high expectations when I picked this one up. The binding and jacket are beautiful and the pages of good quality.
Once I got started (and I mean to finish), I discovered a text that is not well-written. Grammar and syntax errors, could be forgiven if the author was writing in English as a second language but apparently he is British.

Doing some online research to further what Simons wrote. The section on the B-29MR was lifted word for word from joebauer.com. Simons is not only a bad author but a clear plagiarist.

This is hard going. Photos are spread at random. Abbreviations used in the text without explanation. Narrative skipping back and forth. No cutaway of the aircraft, which is unusual for a technical tome.
