Having played the game quite thoroughly more than 10 years ago, I do remember quite clearly the atmosphere of being inside the characters' thoughts as one of the best things in the game, together with the music and the willfully bizarre graphics and character stories. The book, as it is, is not very well written. Descriptions are flat and cursory, and action is mostly through not very good dialogue.
