LOL Phyllis, that is true. I loved our old library. The new, very large library is so poorly designed that I don't like to go there and since it is in a huge building now.......they actually have fewer books. It does not just look like less because of the larger building....they literally have fewer books and lots and lots of wasted space. I am giving this book a second try since both of my sons thought it was worth it and they rarely agree on books.
How goes the battle? Finish it or give up?
I am almost done. No comment till finished.
I gave up. Parts were interesting and did make one think but it is just so poorly and/or amaturishly written. The really way out there and corny "stuff" ~ that I would have bet money would be in there ~ just turned me off. Cannot finish! I gave it my best but I have NEVER spent so long on such a small book. I'm glad Kevin and Randy got something out of it though.
It's my rule that if I don't like a book within the first 20 or 30 pages I just send it back where it came
from. I get most of my books from the library...there are other books there.
