The last few stories contain a few well known by children and adults, as well as some that would most likely not have been heard before. All of which could be used just as well as our classically known tales.

Really enjoying the variety of the tales included.
Some will be very familiar to children due to the appearance of characters they’ve seen in wider fiction (such as Maui - Moana) and some will offer a look into new cultures they may not have experienced before.
Stories in this section have included Russia, New Zealand, Africa, and a selection of short fables.

A good breadth of folk tales from across the world. So far I have read stories from Australia, The Arctic, Canada, Cornwall and Ireland.
All have a moral that would resonate well with children.
Some of the language is a little outdated however, so could do with being adapted for use in a school environment.
