I have found that Anne Stuart's heroes have severe assholic tendencies. As such I have stopped reading all my books. Males like that were not my cup of tea :(

I've read a couple of her historicals and yeah, it seems like she def favors the anti-hero! But as long as she can redeem them into someone worthy by the end, I'm ok with that... Bastien's though has his work cut out for him! :)
Aha. It's good that you still have hope in Anne Stuart's writing. :) Mine died a painful death after the last time one of her heroes said something totally horrible to the heroine. The only book of hers that I liked/loved was Ice Storm, it was also incidentally the first book of hers that I read.. I loved it because the heroine was a cold agent... Shaped by the hero's past actions. So I felt that she was well able to go against the anti-hero/cold character of the hero.
I was also left wondering why none of her other books had heroines like that...
