So frustrated w/ how many times the present timeline is cut away from to go to the past. Thomas has been in the doorway for 50 pages, there's only been a couple bits of conversation between him, Cat, and Lady Jeffrey but then days have past in the past scenes. And the past scenes are good but damn just finish the present scene please!

I'm liking this but so far so many chapters are showing what happened when Cat and Thomas originally met 2-3 years before but I'm more interested in the present timeline and what's going on with them now but every time there's a little something in the present, immediately the story will flashback to the past.

Liking this so far. It's the book I'm usually reading during break/lunch at work, so it may take me a while to finish, or I might hit a point where I can't put it down and continue to read it at home. Lol.
