Only page 30? tut tut!!! Slacker!

I only started a few days ago... *sniff*

I was just teasing you because I can't imagine wanting to have an app that keeps track of what page I am on in public. Everyone would know I've been on page 172 of the Unicorn Creed for the last 3 years!

Public tracking adds accountability to goals and helps me achieve them! Like the running maps on Facebook, I hope Goodreads will help spur me on to read more for the odd thrill of reporting it to all my eager (!) Goodreads followers !

I imagine the concept fills you with utter horror :) But it really works very well for things you want to do and think you can achieve. Alas, private goals remain private and often wither and die...

tl;dr: "I get by with a little help from my friends"

Pff, and I bet you are eagerly awaiting the Geek Rapture, too! ;)

Much like my tender zucchini seedlings which all promptly died when I put them outside, my goals seem to need a bit of hardening off before being planted out in full exposure to the elements!

But, I want to do Tour de Fleece this year though so I may "publicize" those goals :)
