Hardin looked up coolly. “Order them yourself, Wienis, and see who is playing with forces too great for whom."

“It pays to be obvious, especially if you have a reputation for subtlety.”

“Don’t you see? It’s Galaxy-wide. It’s a worship of the past. It’s a deterioration—a stagnation!”
He stared from one to the other and they gazed fixedly at him.

Love Hardin's character. Great pace so far.
