well, 1/3 of the book is advertisements for other books, or author page, or dedication page etc, so there's really not much 'there' there... but what is there for the story is just 'meh'.... not sure how young you'd have to be to find this actually scary instead of just unsettling, or more likely boring, but it's younger than anybody i know...
