so many slurs... so much problematic language...

a cis character :-) just used :-) the t-slur :-) and it wasn't even in a way that would make it clear that it's not ok :-) great, just absolutely fantastic

okay so this book is about a trans woman finding out that her grandfather might've been trans as well, and it just really bothers me and makes me uncomfortable when the characters keep referring to that person with he pronouns and the term grandfather. i mean yes they aren't sure were they trans or not but they could at least? use they pronouns and say grandparent instead while figuring it out

i'm not really a fan of the writing style on this one, but oh well maybe i'll grow into it. the word "transsexual" popped up on the second page and seriously surprised me since this is a 2018 book after all?? (also: why does goodreads say this has 320 pages when i have 293)
