Teal Okay, I took a quick look at your shelves, and I see at least 3 m/m books on your TBR that I gave 5 stars to and think are totally amazing. I can't tell whether you own them, though....

1. So I'll start with Something Human, because it's free on Amazon through tomorrow. Alt-historical, has a slow patch near the beginning, but is totally worth persevering through to get to the good/great stuff.

2. The Glamour Thieves, the start of a sf/uf mashup series with lots of action.

3. Greenwode, the first in a Robin Hood retelling with mild fantastical elements. Needs to be read with book 2, because they make up a duology. There are more books in the series, but you can stop and rest after the 2nd one.

Hope you find the right book that gives you what you're looking for. :)

Cyril Omg THANK YOU!! This is wonderful & I truly appreciate it!

Alison I'll second Teal's rec: J. Tullos Hennig's Wode series (Greenwode is the first book) is stunning. One of my most favourite things ever. It's immersive queer Robin Hood historical fantasy and it's brilliant.

If you like queer sf, another favourite of mine is Anna Butler's Taking Shield series. The first book is Gyrfalcon and I'm pretty sure it's perma-free.

Things on your TBR that I absolutely loved: Michael J. Metzer's Spy Stuff (amazing ownvoices trans YA), Harper Fox's Scrap Metal (broody Scottish queer romance), Kai Ashante Wilson's A Taste of Honey (fantastic desert sf queer romance), and Kirby Crow's Malachite (queer fantasy adventure romance in a Venetian-style setting). I hope you find something amazing! :)

Oh gosh!! Thank you!! I appreciate you taking the time to toss some awesome reads my way!! <3

I've got Greenwode open and ready to go. I tried reading it once before and have no idea why I put it down 10 pages in.

Alison Hope you like it! :)
If I remember correctly, I found the beginning to be a little bit confusing because of mysterious mystical stuff. It all becomes clear in time.
