Revonsuo is definitely favoring monism (matter=mind) over any form of dualism. Epiphenomenalism, although initially persuasive and seriously entertained by myself, is not amenable to physical evidence because it postulates an effect with no cause (e.g. consciousness as the passive observer of physically deterministic actions).
