I started reading this massive book that my parents had back as a kid 40 years ago. Not sure how far I got but it’s been on my TBR since about 1978. Finally made the plunge and started reading it. So far it seems that Hitler was a real political genius and manipulator. Basically with no other qualifications and some really evil ideas.

So far looks like hitler was able to bluff and intimidate his was to more territory. He threatened to invade Czechoslovakia but his army really wasn’t ready in 1938 but the British and French let him have it.
