A great mix of humour, pathos, magic, lyrics & adventure. Not too gory. I'm enjoying reading of places I've been & lived in. Nice to have a tale set around Melbourne, my old haunt; with the dipping into past and present fitting although it sometimes irks, not this time. Love old historical tales and the slow reveal of how things came to be and could be. Am up to chapter 9 but can't tell what page from e-version.
