While reading book it appears that the author has done significant research in Maratha era. Writing gives appropriate references and the process of drawing conclusions. Nicely written book and those who are interested in understanding, what really happened, should read it at least once. The author appears neutral towards other books are raises some logical questions based on the information from those books.
