:-) Exactly the same situation as mine. I had a very similar book as an undergraduate and, like you, I have been wanting (for quite some time) to read it cover to cover (at Uni, we only covered some portions of it, and we skipped things such as optics, ferromagnetism, semiconductors etc)! A nice trip down memory lane :-) I found it at a bookfair, in brand new condition, and I just had to buy it.
