This was a wonderful read, characters you fall in love with as they fall in love and you clinch at the troubles they face. Set in a earlier time but the author's voice is of today. The descriptions were not so long you lost pace. A delightful short read leaving you with a smile. It was refreshing. I like long novels and adore the shorter ones also.
