And yes I’m going to quote this because I’ve “struggled” with ADHD all my life. I have never been good with remembering details, never been able to focus 100%, I’ve always been extremely impulsive, and I can’t sit the hell still. I’m also dyslexic, probably why I like Rick’s books because majority of his characters are dyslexic and have ADHD.

Anyone else find it funny that Leo calls Hera Tía Callida when she’s actually his grandmother? Also since Aphrodite and Hephaestus are married does that make Leo and Piper step siblings? And another thing is that Jason and Hephaestus would be step siblings cause they’re both sons of Zeus. But according to the series the godly side of you doesn’t matters, however it’s still interesting to think about lol

Aphrodite would be a dope godly parent to have. She’s a total bird brain sometimes but she has her motives and reasons for what she does. Also love is a very powerful thing itself, and using that as a weapon would be terrifying. However her kids in Cabin 10 need some mothering in their lives, a bunch of self centered, selfish demigods.

Wondering how the hell Gleeson Hedge has so much energy? Or why he’s a 106 (53) year old Satyr and still acts like a baby goat lol
He’s so wild I was surprised he actually shut up when Jason told him to.
Also poor Piper, I gotta admit I didn’t much care for her when I first read this book but I get her now. I feel bad for her, but she doesn’t make my heart ache like Leo.

I’ve just come to realize that Jason Grace is a no nonsense type of guy. He got a lot of authority in his voice, he doesn’t remember who is he or know where he came from but he’s not gonna get walked on. He has good instincts.

I have looked up Leo’s old “babysitters” name, Tia Callida. Callida/Calida actually means “most beautiful; heated, with warmth.” And since I’ve read this book before and I know who Tia Callida actually is, it makes me laugh that the goddess, Hera, chose that name for one of her disguises.
